Product Details
Victoria Rhubarb is a classic heirloom variety valued for its dependable growth, long harvest window, and beautifully coloured stalks. Vigorous plants form large, upright clumps reaching 2 to 3 feet tall and wide, producing thick, tender stalks that range from green at the base to soft pink and red along the length. The flavour is well balanced, offering a bright tartness mellowed by natural sweetness, making it ideal for pies, crisps, jams, and fresh baking. This hardy perennial establishes quickly and can be harvested lightly in the first year, with full production beginning in its second season. Plant in full sun to partial shade in rich, well drained soil, provide consistent moisture, and divide crowns every few years to maintain strong yields.
