Product Details

This organic heirloom beet variety is prized for its deep burgundy foliage and rich, earthy roots, offering striking color from seedling to harvest; the leaves emerge in a vivid metallic red that intensifies as they grow, making them one of the most visually dramatic salad greens available, while the roots develop into smooth, round, dark crimson beets with a concentrated sweetness and clean, classic flavor; highly valued by chefs for both microgreen production and full-size harvest, this variety matures quickly, produces reliably in a wide range of soil conditions, and brings exceptional color contrast to salads, juices, roasted dishes, and market displays—an heirloom with real culinary weight, standout ornamental appeal, and consistent performance in organic systems.
