Product Details
This is the pumpkin bakers dream about and measure all others against. Flattened, softly ribbed, and warm peach-tan in color, it looks old-world and honest before you even cut it open. Inside is dense, fine-grained flesh with a naturally sweet, rich flavor that turns silky smooth when cooked. It bakes down into velvety pies, deeply flavored soups, and thick purées that actually taste like pumpkin, not water and sugar. Productive, reliable, and bred for flavor first, this variety delivers heavyweight yields and flesh that holds its texture and depth beautifully. If you care about real pumpkin flavor, this one earns its place every single season.
Long Island Cheese Pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata)
A classic heirloom baking pumpkin prized for dense, smooth flesh and rich, naturally sweet flavour. Its flattened, softly ribbed fruits are ideal for pies, soups, and purées that deliver true pumpkin depth and texture.
