Product Details
Aunt Molly’s Ground Cherry is a charming heirloom variety treasured for its sweet, tropical flavour and dependable garden performance. Vigorous, spreading plants grow 24 to 36 inches tall and wide, producing dozens of small, lantern wrapped fruits that ripen from green to a warm golden yellow inside their papery husks. Each cherry sized fruit offers a uniquely rich, fruity taste with notes of pineapple and vanilla, balanced by a gentle tang and smooth, juicy texture. Fruits naturally drop to the ground when ripe, making harvest simple and satisfying. This early variety typically matures in about 70 to 75 days and continues producing until frost. Grow in full sun with moderate watering and allow space for plants to sprawl for best yields.
