Other raspberry varieties step aside, the Bristol Black Raspberry is here! These brilliant and reliable berries are a no-brainer if you're looking for a winning cultivar. This raspberry has proven itself to be hardy, tasty, and beautiful since its introduction in 1934.The best-tasting black raspberry on the market! This heirloom quality variety was released from the Cornell Small Fruit Breeding Program in Geneva, New York. This black raspberry plant is a high-producing early variety whose upright growth and cluster formation make its berries very easy to pick. Hardy and vigorous, Bristol shows tolerance to powdery mildew. This all-purpose fruit is large, firm and gorgeous. It tastes great whether you’re eating it fresh, freezing it for later or whipping it up into preserves. Upright canes do not require staking. Ripens in July. Self-pollinating.
